Hipster City Cycles
Oh man saw this over on Urban Velo. Looks ridiculously fun. I think Tim and Bruce should race against each other via this game!
New York City Bike Wars!
This shit needs to happen in LA!! Where's our bike lanes Mr. Villaraigosa? Ever since you got hit by that car you've changed your mind about the safety of cycling in Los Angeles, yet I have not seen any changes within the city to provide safer streets.

Mike Giant
Neighbors: Mike Giant (Trailer) from Agency Charlie on Vimeo.
Prolly posted up some works on a series called The Neighbors. Great work providing wonderful insight to what some call the modus operandi. Reminds me of my film classes where we watched small films and examined how directors can convey so much in only 2 minutes. Not to mention that Mike Giant is an amazing artist highly involved within the cycling community.
Death Before Derailluer.
I dont know about this one. The 5th Floor is taking pre-orders for their new crew neck. Seen lots of posts about this sweatshirt. I personally wouldn't wear this, but if you rock an aerojoke and are fully committed to your fixie whip, then this is all for you. I've recently started riding my old road bike ( the only road bike I've got) and been climbing hills around Whittier, let me tell you sometimes a derailleur helps you enjoy the ride a little more. just sayin.
WRAHW!! Patches
I'd rock this shit on my bag. Scoop it over at Wrahw. Put it on your denim jacket and vest and be cool yo!

Crazy Bike Lock!
Browsing the blogroll and Saw this awesome and quirky lock over on ZLOG .
One of their followers from Germany sent this awesome video over to them.
Here's the making of video. I wonder if this could be mass produced. Probably not, I can see how difficult it can be trying to park your bike on a pole with lots of bikes already on it.
German Engineering.

Joey McKeag
Awesome edit from Joe McKeag. I saw this guy first shred over at the Cadence Fast Friday event at Encino Velodrome. Kills it. This guy goes to the same high school I did. Not many know that he's from Whittier.

BANNED Vol.2
BANNED VOL.2: Blunts & Stunts Mixtape from Banned Vids on Vimeo.
This shit is kinda funny, not your regular bmx stuff. The first Banned Bmx video I ever saw was in my last year of college. My roommate use to ride bmx so we watched it together, and the only thing I remember is a scene where a guy is getting fellatio in a hotel room while some other guy does a barhop, and someone else is dancing.
You can get a copy over at DansComp.
Miles
Miles from Pietro Malegori on Vimeo.
I love the simplicity of the cinematography. All black and white. Minimal dialogue. I truly makes the film speak for itself through those awesome framed shots. The use of closeups inter-spaced within the milieu of wide angles gives you depth as to who the riders are and the surroundings through which they travel. I'd love to make a film like this one day.The only other thing people have talked about is biking 270 miles with a bag. Shit, I'd do it.

The Locust Belgium-1996
Video days quality, but this shit is awesome. It has my favorite track! Emaciation Fuckers!
GLK Race Route Mondays
Last nights turn out was a little small due to people being discouraged by the cold and wind. Goes to show you who's down to ride no matter what! Some new faces, some old.
Tim showed up a little late and jumped into the ride, but he didn't get farther then a block when this safety pin got stuck in his tire. Tim has the worst luck with tires. You may remember his tire blowing out on one of our Thursday Rides. To bad none of the tire sponsors we emailed never got back to us, I think Tim would have been stoked to win some tires. But he fixed his tire and hustled to be first back from one of the check points just to show everyone. TEAM FAT!!
The hostess Manny getting us all ready to roll out and Chris in the back. Chris finally made it out to one of our rides after receiving countless text bombs. Come out to another ride Chris!!
Not gonna lie it was cold and so I threw on as many layers as possible.
There's only one Race Route Monday left before the race, so come out and get to know the checkpoints before the race!!

FOOFA!!!
I hadnt been on the The HeavyPedal when I saw this awesome VansxYO GABBA GABBA collab video!
This one is my favorite, not because of the bikes, but because this song, Send Me an Angel by Real Life, has got to be one of the best songs ever!!
I have to say that this is one of the better child oriented collaborations that I have ever seen. Not your cheap run off the mill Disney shoes you get at Target, but great quality shoes, promoting a cartoon that I myself love to watch. Some of you watch it too, you know who you are. Ian MacKaye and Bizz Markie are only two contributing artist to this cartoon and I def get a pair for my kid. Dont forget to peep Plex and Muno with their sick thrash skills!

The ThermaJock
Wow..oh man i busted up reading about this one. There is a company out there that makes this awesome thing called The ThermaJock.
I spotted this on Urban Velo. I couldn't tell if it was a joke or a serious product. I browsed around and read the testimonials to which there were no puns I could quote, but in all truth the cold season is upon us and I really wonder if this product truly withstands to the test of nature. I'd give it the good old college try, I wonder what it looks like under bike shorts..haha.

R.E.LOAD Cats T-Shirt
So I was looking at messenger bags the other day and found this awesome shirt over at R.E.Load. I thought it was funny and remembered that Sean over at TAKEOVER LA! had a post about a cat shirt. Enjoy!

DTLA Bicycles.
Today I volunteered at the Downtown LA Bicycles Alleycat. It was a good turn-up for their bunny hop contest, I think most kids that participated came away with new G-Sport Rollcage rims. There was a small trick sesh, but it was great ontheless watching kids just have on their bikes.
The alley cat was small and fast, winners got some cool sweet Arnold Palmer Shoes. 1st place gave me their shoes so now I'll be loafin' around in some non-vegan Arnold Palmer's... I might bike to the liquor store and and pick up a tall can of Arizona Arnold Palmer Iced Tea.

Life Cycles
Life Cycles OFFICIAL Trailer from Life Cycles on Vimeo.
This trailer has been out for a while but its so beautifully shot. The composition of camera angles coupled with the transition of color between seasons emotes this feeling of static progression between elements. You can order it here! I was also looking at the website, if we email them we could possibly plan a screening here in our own city!!!Burro Chronic Pedal Straps
Burro Pedal Straps from L. Gustavo Cooper on Vimeo.
A good quick little edit from Burro on their awesome straps!GLK Monday Night Race Route!
Monday's have been designated for training for our race routes. This past monday we had the opportunity to shoot some photos! More photos from this night can be found on Bruce's flickr.
Re-Stealing
I saw this pick over on Smashenger. I thought it was funny, but more so the feeling of recovering a stolen bike must feel amazing. Our good friend Gilbert had his bike stolen, and this has becoming more recurrent within all cities across the US, with discussions concerning proper lock-up and what lock to use, what we should all do is learn from other people's mistakes to prevent something , such as a stolen bike, from happening to ourselves. The search continues for Gilbert's bike.
